Well Deserved Victory for Oman
Great consistency of Oman Batsman leads them to victory. Oman started with a flying start with their openers Millind(40) and Kunal(47) taking over every bowler and smashing the ball all over the ground. Oman lost their first wicket in the 14th, but still there was more to come Gaurav Honavar who played a fine inning against Afghanistan yesterday, was looking in great form today as well he scored 25 runs in a short span of time which assist Oman to go on the same pace. Though after losing Kunal when the total was 125 Oman kept losing their wickets and were down to 135 for 4.
Though falling of wickets never stopped Oman and middle order batsman came in and took control of the situation with Sufiyan (46*) Nikhil (35*) Oman was able to reach the total of 245 runs in 40 overs.
Iran came in to bat and from the beginning Oman once again showed their skills and took wickets from the beginning. Iran lost their 6 wickets in 11 runs. Sohail Balanchi of Iran was trying hard to stabilize the innings but was not getting any support from the other end. Oman opening bowlers Sufiyan (2-16) and Mughis (4-5) did not gave Iran any chance and cleared them by 43 runs.
Iran won by a big margin of 202 runs and Mughis Juned was well deserved Man of the Match
