KHON KAEN AND BANGKOK TAKE THE TITLE 
The 27TH Thailand’s Annual National Youth Games (UTTARADIT GAMES) which was held in Uttaradit from 20th to 31st March 2011 was a triumph for the Cricket Association of Thailand as men’s teams from twelve provinces and women’s teams from seven provinces competed for the honours.

Cricket was a demonstration sport last year at the National Youth Games held at Phetchabun. With the blessings of the Sports Authority of Thailand this year’s cricket competition was established as a full medal event. Next year, the 28th rendition of this event will be held in Phuket.
The newcomers in this year’s men’s competition were Srisaket, Yala, Lopburi, Uttaradit, Supanburi and Chantaburi and in the women’s competition Chanthaburi, Lopburi and Uttaradit which clearly shows that the game is spreading fast across Thailand.

27th UTTARADIT GAMES 2011 
This year Thailand’s annual National Youth Games (UTTARADIT GAMES 2011) will take place in Uttaradit (North of Thailand) from the 19th to the 31st of March, 2011. The National Youth Games, considered to be the pinnacle youth sport competition in Thailand, was first staged by the Sports Authority of Thailand in the year 1985 in the Nakhon Ratchasima province in which over 1,500 athletes competed in 7 sporting disciplines.
The 27th Uttaradit Games will see cricket as the 31st sporting discipline with a total of 19 teams (12 men & 7 women) taking part which is big step for cricket in Thailand. A new playing surface has been specially prepared in Technical College Ground, Uttaradit for cricket.
